dp.life App Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the dp.life App (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the App and uninstall it immediately.
2. Description of Service
The App is a Web3 super-app that integrates a self-custodial multi-chain wallet, a discovery feed, AI on-chain analytics, encrypted social features (encrypted chat, video calls, and livestreaming), and a KYC-based centralized account system, together with a built-in DApp ecosystem covering on-chain shopping, games, short video, DeFi, NFT, and more. Features may change, evolve, or be discontinued at our discretion as the product develops.
3. License Grant & Restrictions
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your own lawful personal purposes. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, circumvent, sublicense, rent, resell, or redistribute the App, or copy any part of it.
4. App Store & Distribution Channels
The App is distributed through third-party stores such as the Apple App Store and Google Play, and your use of those stores is subject to their respective terms. In-app purchases (if any) are subject to the payment and refund policies of the relevant store. Where these Terms conflict with applicable store rules and the store rules prevail, the store rules apply to the extent of the conflict.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use cryptocurrency and related services in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with all local laws applicable to your use of the App.
6. Accounts & KYC
Certain features require you to register a dp.life ID with your email and complete KYC verification through our licensed compliance partners. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity under your account.
7. Self-Custody & Security
Where supported, private keys are generated and stored locally on your device and never leave it. You alone are responsible for backing up recovery material. Loss of your keys or recovery material may result in permanent loss of access to your assets, for which we are not liable.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App for unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or infringement of others’ rights, and not to distribute prohibited content or interfere with the App or other users. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or applicable law.
9. User Content & Social Conduct
You are solely responsible for content you publish through social features such as chat, livestreaming, and short video. You grant us the right to use such content to the extent necessary to provide the App’s services. We do not warrant the truthfulness or legality of user content and may remove content that violates these Terms based on reports or our own review.
10. Tipping, In-App Purchases & Settlement
Features involving settlement, such as livestream tipping and commerce checkout, are settled according to the rules agreed with the relevant partners. Blockchain transfers are irreversible once broadcast; please verify the receiving address and amount carefully before confirming.
11. Software Updates
We may deliver updates automatically or manually to improve features, fix bugs, or meet compliance requirements. Some features may become unavailable after a version is discontinued.
12. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, designs, text, and software comprising the App are owned by Dp.Life INC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App without prior written permission.
13. Third-Party Services & DApps
DApps, listings, and third-party content found in the App are provided by external parties. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee their accuracy, safety, or legality, and you use third-party services at your own risk.
14. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not responsible for market fluctuations, smart-contract risk, or third-party DApp behavior.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dp.Life INC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Termination
You may stop using the App or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or applicable law.
18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes relating to these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation and, failing that, shall be submitted to a court or arbitration of competent jurisdiction in accordance with applicable law.
